Program Overview

Catch the K-Wave provides an intensive Korean language and cultural learning experience to students through a standards-based and thematically organized curriculum.

Students do not need nor are expected to have any prior knowledge in Korean language or culture, but should have a willingness to learn and explore!

STARTALK is a national project funded by the National Security Agency. STARTALK’s mission is to increase the number of U.S. citizens learning, speaking, and teaching critical-need languages, with programs nationwide for students (K-16) and teachers. STARTALK offers students and teachers of these languages creative and engaging summer experiences that strive to exemplify best practices in language education and in language teacher development.

*An Education Grant was also subsidized by the Korean Ministry of Education and the Atlanta Korean Education Center.

동사업비는 대한민국 교육부 및 애틀랜타 한국교육원의 지원으로 진행되고 있음.
