A-KEEP's Language Camp Begins Soon!

On June 30th, A-KEEP is hosting our annual language summer camp Parent OPEN HOUSE and Orientation at Pike Road Intermediate School. It starts at 5:30 pm. Parents will have an opportunity to preview activities, meet the teachers and supporting staff and hear from guest speaker, P. Brannon Barragán from AUM (Auburn University at Montgomery), about the benefits of language and culture learning.

Catch the K-Wave provides an intensive Korean language and cultural learning experience to students through a standards-based and thematically organized curriculum. The 3-week summer program is a traditional and virtual, accredited program via Pike Road Schools and open to rising 6th through 12th grade students.  This year we have about 26 students and families participating in-person and 4 will join us online. Students can even receive a Carnegie half credit for their schools based on their performance and level. Our students are great and aspiring interpreters, ambassadors, and so much more. We look forward to this every year.
